Andrew Scheer telling Indigenous protesters to "check their privilege" is patently absurd, but it's a predictable offshoot of the bizarre contradictions in Critical Race Theory, an anti-racism analysis popular among some race theorists.
In a nutshell, Critical Race Theory is an academic belief that because White people hold societal power, only White people can be racist.
Any thinking person knows racism is terrible - and illogical - which is why it's important to combat it effectively! And that means through advocacy and action founded in critical thinking, not academic nonsense.
Liana Kerzner (@redlianak) & Maus Merryjest's (@bywordofmaus) examine & deconstruct the theory that "prejudice plus power equals racism" (also known as the Bidol equation) showing how basic Critical Thinking exposes the illogical basis of Critical Race Theory by following it through to its ridiculous conclusions.
