For a couple of decades, Michael Coren was Canada's right-wing megaphone. The journalist, broadcaster, author & speaker was pervasive in the media expressing his anti-gay, anti-abortion, hard-right views. But what made him so successful, and fearful to the Left, is that Michael is well-spoken, intelligent, doesn't suffer fools and has a rapier-like wit that his opponents couldn't match.
Today, we know a different Michael Coren - a loud & proud socially-liberal voice supporting equal marriage, a woman's right to choose abortion, caring for the poor and a champion of social justice causes.
How and why did this change take place? What personal journey took Michael from the dark side to progressive causes? And considering his social circle and professional income were tied-in with his then-conservative views, what did it cost him?

US Rep. Ilhan Omar (D - Minnesota) has said a string of things that echo centuries of antisemitic tropes & themes. Some of them she apologized for, some she kind of apologized for, some she sounded like she was apologizing for. Sure, people misspeak, misjudge or misunderstand their words sometimes - but this many times on the same subject?
Is Rep. Omar antisemitic? Does she have some unconscious antisemitic attitudes? Is she unaware of the dog whistles in her statements about Israel and how they have and continue to affect Jews and attitudes toward Jews? Is she just inexperienced at speaking on such a large public stage? And how much does she care?
And why is the Left (outside of a few notable figures) circling their wagons and 'protecting' her from learning from her mistakes?

Hafeez Noorani is an online personality and political junkie who specializes in social media communications and has been a lightning rod in hot-button conversations yet still seems to attract and befriend people on both sides of the political spectrum. Which makes him someone many Antifa members would consider 'an enemy'.

Being pelted by milkshakes is legally assault, but if that had been as far as it had gone, no big deal. But a member of Antifa punched journalist Andy Ngo in the face. Ngo wasn't physically attacking or about to physically attack anyone. But Ngo writes and makes videos that support the White Supremacist movement. So was it okay to punch him in the face?
